Artwork is free providing the order is placed with us, otherwise there is a $35.00 an hour charge for graphic design.

order for custom design is 100
Patch sizes are determined by the average size method. To determine the size of an embroidered patch, add the width (W) and height (H) of the patch and divide the sum by 2. Round the fraction up to the next highest 1/2 inch. The following figures illustrate how patch sizes are determined.
Designs should be clean with no small details. When the patch is embroidered small details will be only one stitch wide and loose their clarity.
Letters and Numbers - Characters smaller than 1/4" in height are not recommended. The absolute minimum for double stitched letters and numerals is 3/16", which is difficult to read. Smaller letters and numerals may be single stitched, but cbut we do not recommend it. We will review your design and advise you if it will not work. We will also provide a stitching pattern if there is a question on the design. You benefit from our years of experience.

For orders over 2,000 patches, a firm quote will be prepared and submitted to you.
COLORS
- We offer up to and including seven standard embroidery thread colors at
no extra charge. Any embroidery thread color over seven will add an extra
$0.06 per color per patch.
METALLIC THREAD - Gold and silver (Mylar) threads are also
available for an additional charge. These threads add an additional 10-20%
each to the base charge. Due to brittleness of these threads, they are not
recommended for merrowed borders.
FABRIC BACKGROUND MATERIAL - Our standard fabric is a durable polyester twill with no additional charge for colored fabric. The colored background may serve as one of your colors to reduce the percent of stitching.. Felt background is available at no additional charge.
BORDERS - Only smooth edges regular shaped patches with rounded corners can receive a merrowed border. Sharp, irregular, or zigzag shaped emblems must have a laser cut border. For cut borders, we suggest a plastic film backing to prevent unraveling.
DRAFT PROOFS - All designs will be emailed to you for review. Make any changes and as many as you need to. We want to make the perfect patch for you. Our reference number should be referred to in all communications and reorders
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES - Any cost incurred prior to the change or cancellation of an order will be invoiced to the customer. Additions to the original order cannot be accepted once our factory has processed the order. It will be processed as a repeat order.
PREPRODUCTION SAMPLE - With an order for 300 pieces or more, we can provide a preproduction sample for your approval. We do not recommend it however since the patch will be a precise reproduction of your art work. There is a $50.00 charge for this service and an additional 3-4 weeks should be allowed for production. If any design changes are desired after the preproduction sample, additional charges and time will be incurred.
PATENTS AND COPYRIGHTS - The customer assumes liability for infringement of design made by customer's art. All art supplied by Dive Patches International will remain their copyright and may be used only with their permission
Iron on Instructions:
1. Set your iron on the dry COTTON setting. Do not use steam. Pre-heat to 400 F. (This Patch is only to be applied to fabric that can withstand 400 F. It is not recommended for satin or nylon. 2. Pre-warm the back of the patch with a hair dryer. 3. Turn garment inside out; apply firm pressure with the iron on the area of the Patch. 4. Allow fabric to cool for at least 10 minutes. 5. Permanence of application is guaranteed by sewing.
